I, Emma of France and Northern California, declare that my very existence depends on other beings being able to grow, feed themselves, and sustain the cycles of resources that sustain me in turn. I hold this as plain truth: I live in interdependence with humans and the more-than-human, with soil and waters, and with the wider universe and cosmos. I want a future shaped by deep accountability, equity, and deep love and care for those we depend on. To help build that future, I commit to holding myself accountable for my impact and supporting the health of waters, soils, and human actions that honor the biosphere.
