I, Amanda of Northern California, declare that I live by mutual reciprocity, held by people, places, creatures, and practices that keep me connected to the web of life. I hold these ties dear: my family and friends, the builders working toward a better future for all, Miso and Mango, the monarch butterflies passing through, the turtles sunbathing along the Los Gatos trail, the full moon as it rises, and Shrine Coffee. To them I commit to showing up: to love my people well, to lend courage where I can, to understand how my choices ripple across the world, and to act accordingly.
