I, Joanna of the Mystic River Watershed, declare that interdependence is love for humans, animals, plants, blue sky, deep ocean, night stars, and all this turtle planet shares with us each day and night. I hold these truths close: my husband, pup, family, friends, neighbors, pollinator plants in my garden, dragonflies, bees, ancestors, and future beings all shape the life I live. I envision a future of connection with every living and nonliving part of Earth, and a society that embraces its limits while staying open to possibility. To help grow in this direction, I commit to leaning in, listening, and connecting with people who share this vision.
